Sending your newsletter via email

If you have already maintain an email newsletter, you may wish to
continue sending out emails as part of publishing your online
newsletter. Or you may have just started your online newsletter and now
wish to start sending out emails in addition to having your updates be
online.
How to send new posts via email.- Make
a new entry and save it. Once the post has been saved, the screen will
refresh and you will be able to edit your post. Alternately, if you
want to send out a previous post via email, just choose it to edit it.
- Scroll down in your browser until you come to this spot (it’s at the very bottom).

- The
“Include Entry Body” & “Included Extended Body” checkboxes will be
checked by default. To send your entry via email, simply click the
“Send” button. Optionally, you can add a message in the text box that
will be displayed just in the email.
- After clicking the “Send”
button, the screen will refresh and there will be a green text message
stating “Your email has been sent.”.

Note:
you will need to do this for each post you make. Your email subscribers
will never receive a post if you forget to do this. Fortunately, you
can come back and do it later if you forget.
How people can subscribe to receive your newsletter automatically (or how you can add them yourself)
In the sidebar of your online newsletter, there is a section titled “Subscribe to -your newsletter name-” that looks like this.

Anyone
who reads your newsletter can subscribe to receive your newsletter via
email. They can also unsubscribe here as well. You can subscribe and
unsubscribe people here as well….just put in their email address.
Alternately,
there is a “Notifications” section in the online newsletter
administration web site. In the “Notifications” section, you can- view
all of your subscribers. When people use the subscription box on your
newsletter, they are added to the list displayed here.
- You can easily add or delete subscribers in the “Notifications” section.
